Bishop’s Castle boasts a fantastic population of hedgehogs, a fast declining species which has been hard hit by pesticides and climate change. However, records for this fantastic mammal are fewer than we’d like. To help us work out which parts of the town are most favoured, partnering with Shropshire Wildlife Trust, we’re starting up a 2 week loan scheme to allow people to borrow camera traps and see what they’ve got in their gardens.
