Lightfoot at 20 Pop-Up Show
Our celebration of Lightfoot’s 20th year took place in January at BC CLT’s ‘Star’ Pop-Up Shop in Bishop’s Castle.
Amongst the many project activities that were on display was a ‘map’ of BC’s environmental history since the 1980s.
Many visitors suggested additions that had been overlooked. Fortunately, it was still in hand-written form. A digitised
version will soon be created.
Lightfoot search for volunteers
Lightfoot held an interactive exhibition of all of its projects in the Bishop’s Castle Community Trust (STARS) building in the week beginning 13th Jan. The aim was to showcase our projects and to recruit more volunteers to help deliver them. We are looking for potential trustees, or people with IT, social media and administrative skills. However, enthusiasm and an interest in environmental issues and some of your time are the most important qualities you can lend to us. For more information contact info@lightfootenterprises.org to find out more about volunteering.

FRIENDS OF LIGHT FOOT
We introduced our plan to start a ‘Friends of Light Foot’ Group at our AGM in November. Now we want to design the Friends group you want, so would be very happy if you could answer the (very) few questions in the form by clicking the button below. We hope we will have a Friends group that works for everyone.

Renewable Energy
Lightfoot Energy was an initiative of the Bishop’s Castle based Wasteless Society, which itself was founded in the mid-1990s.
Light Foot Enterprises was incorporated in 2008 and became a registered charity in 2013. Light Foot’s main thrust was once the Household Energy Surveys, but has been expanded to pursue initiatives to encourage communities to tackle all aspects of the climate and bio-diversity crises.
